It's Good Enuf!
ByToday is the day that I finally told our talented web designer, Michele Greb, to launch our web site. It’s good enuf. Actually, it’s more than good enuf, it’s fantastic! The labor is over and this baby wants to be born.
All day, I’ve been sending out personal notices; letting people know about our website. There’s no order to how I’m doing it, except that I had email to answer so I let those people know first. I’ll continue the process over the next few days.
What a great response we’ve been getting! Michele did an awesome job and we’re very grateful to her for all her creativity, skills, dedication, and excellent work. We’ve already got her signed on for phase 2.
Let us know what you think of the web site. If you find any glitches, please do tell….we know it’s (more than) good enuf, but this is an on-going project….not an obsession.
The expression, “It’s good E-N-U-F,” comes from my father. He used to say it jokingly as he spelled out each letter. The irony would “crack me up” when I was kid. I would obsess about getting something perfect. He would make a joke to bring my attention to it and suggest we play a game or have some fun.
Nobody laughed harder at his jokes than himself. His whole body would just shake, shoulders going up and down, when he told us a good one. Then he’d say, “Did that crack you up?” He loved to use wit and humor and he was clever with words.
My dad passed over almost 4 years ago, but his words still come to me and others in the family. They kind of connect us together at times, reminding us of our ties to each other. We share some common understandings; especially when it comes to using humor and words in unusual, clever ways.
If my dad was still here. he would say that it’s time to play and have some fun….with words when the subject gets too “deep.” In some way I think he was messing with me tonight as I fretted over what to write in my first post. Blogging is new to me. I’ve got this learning curve so I’m not going to say that I’m having fun yet.
I wil say, though, that we are all good enough…..you are good enough….and I am good enough.
E-N-U-F said, thanks , Dad!

Hey Roz,
Michael & I thank you for all your enthusiasm. The feeling is mutual…and glad we’re in this together. We all could use some help in one way or another. You know what a hormonal mess I was in when I first came to you for help!
I’m so excited about the new “club” you’re forming…don’t want to give away your “secret” just yet so keep us informed.
Love,
Deb
